Booking Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to all ticket purchases for events organised by The Armchair Astronaut.

By purchasing a ticket, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

Tickets are valid only for the event, date, and purchaser details provided at the time of booking.

Tickets receipt must be presented (digital or printed) for entry.

The Armchair Astronaut reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any attendee whose behaviour is unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate.

All ticket sales are final.

Tickets are non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

• Illness or medical circumstances 
• Personal or family emergencies 
• Travel disruption (including strikes, delays, cancellations) 
• Change of personal plans 
• Work or scheduling conflicts 
• Failure to attend for any reason 

No exceptions will be made to this policy.

If you are unable to attend, tickets cannot be transferred, resold, exchanged, or assigned to another person.

We do not operate an official resale, exchange, or waiting list service, and will not recognise tickets that have been resold, exchanged or gifted.

Tickets hold no cash value once purchased and are strictly non-transferable.

Non-attendance for any reason does not entitle the ticket holder to a refund or credit.

From time to time, event details may need to change due to circumstances outside our control.

This may include changes to:

• Guest appearances 
• Schedule timings 
• Venue layout or event flow 

We will always aim to ensure the overall experience is delivered as intended.

Guest appearances are subject to professional and operational circumstances.

In the unlikely event a guest is unable to attend, we will make reasonable efforts to arrange a replacement or alternative programme content.

No refunds will be issued in the event of guest changes or cancellations.

By attending the event, you consent to photography and video recording which may include general audience footage for promotional use.

If you do not wish to appear in identifiable images, please inform a member of staff on arrival.

We are committed to making events as accessible as possible.

If you have accessibility requirements, please contact us in advance so we can advise and assist where possible.

Attendees are responsible for their personal belongings at all times. We accept no liability for loss, theft, or damage. 

We are not liable for any failure or delay in delivering the event due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. This includes (but is not limited to) extreme weather, venue issues, illness outbreaks, travel disruption, or other unforeseen events.
